Our fundraising appeal to raise funds for Glow’s vital domestic abuse services has raised £2000.
Since the pandemic hit, we’ve been working hard to adapt so that we can keep our refuges open and adapting our services so we can still support anyone who is experiencing or at risk of abuse. We’ve also set up a new text line for anyone to get in touch with us for support and advice around relationships and domestic abuse.
As well as people donating directly to our appeal, we’ve also had people taking part in challenges and setting up their own fundraising appeals to help raise money. The funds raised will help us continue the work we are doing to end domestic abuse.
Christina Hunter, Fundraising Manager at Glow said: “During these uncertain times we are so humbled by how people have come together to support our Glow Emergency Covid-19 Appeal. This money has made such a difference to us, and to those who need our vital services.
“We could not continue our work without the amazing generosity of our supporters. We are so grateful to each and every one.”
