Group programmes
The Recovery Hub delivers a number of group programmes, both face-to-face in Stoke and online. All of our programmes are accredited to Level 2 by AIM, with accreditation opportunities for customers too.
Freedom Programme
A 12-week programme which helps people who have experienced abusive relationships recognise and understand the dynamics of domestic abuse.
You and Me, Mum
A 10-week programme which aims to empower and develop your understanding of the role of mothers and addressing the needs of children and young people who have lived with domestic violence.
Recovery Toolkit
A 12-week cognitive behavioural therapy programme to help survivors understand their individual experience of domestic abuse and move towards a brighter future.

Support and wellbeing
Alongside group programmes, the Recovery Hub holds regular wellbeing and social activities, alongside practical advice sessions, to support the recovery journey.
Recovery Hub customers can access: yoga sessions, group walks, crafting, self-love and confidence workshops, pamper sessions, library and book swaps and a legal clinic.
Our activities are developed around whatever our customers tell us they would like. We are ‘place based,’ and deliver our programmes and activities in accessible community venues.

Volunteer opportunities
Whether you’re inspired by our mission to end abuse and want to help, or you’re a former Glow customer that wants to give back, we’d love to have you on the team. At the Recovery Hub, we have a range of roles and opportunities where you can fit in and join us as a volunteer.
We run two AIM accredited volunteer programmes a year. Our volunteers are intrinsic to the service, many with lived experience, who have a desire to help other survivors recover from their experiences of abuse.
Volunteering for the Recovery Hub
Volunteering within the Recovery Hub helps volunteers to gain new skills, increase their confidence, build support networks and improve their career opportunities. You might help us out with admin, fundraising, our newsletter or even co-deliver group programmes.
Safe accommodation
As a volunteer in our safe accommodation, you'll support customers who might feel isolated and unsure how to connect with the local area, access amenities and reach community support.
Volunteering across Honeycomb Group
We’re part of the Honeycomb Group family, and have other volunteer opportunities available across the Group.
