    Volunteer training

    We run two AIM accredited volunteer programmes a year. Our volunteers are intrinsic to the service, many with lived experience, who have a desire to help other survivors recover from their experiences of abuse.

    Recovery Hub

    Volunteering within the Recovery Hub helps volunteers to gain new skills, increase their confidence, build support networks and improve their career opportunities. You might help us out with admin, fundraising, our newsletter or even co-deliver group programmes.

    Safe accommodation

    As a volunteer in our safe accommodation, you'll support customers who might feel isolated and unsure how to connect with the local area, access amenities and reach community support.

    Volunteering for Honeycomb Group

    We’re part of the Honeycomb Group family, and have other volunteer opportunities available across the Group.

    Current opportunities

    We're currently looking for volunteers to provide regular or occasional support for our refuge and community housing customers.

    You'll help with:        

    ·       Sourcing, collecting and processing donations of food, clothing or other item

    ·         Helping to prepare rooms and properties for new customers

    ·       Providing practical and/or emotional support to customers who are moving into one of our refuges, community properties or their own homes.

    ·       Supporting customers with finding and accessing services in the local area.

    ·       Helping to plan and run events and activities, preferably on 1x weekly basis

    ·       Providing peer support if you have lived experience.

    ·      Organising and arranging social events such as a walking group.
