We’re so pleased to share that Glow now has brand new, purpose-built homes available in Stoke on Trent for individuals and families escaping domestic abuse.
We know how hard and overwhelming it can be to take that first step away from abuse. That’s why these new homes have been carefully created to help make that journey feel just a little easier and a lot more dignified.
These homes are a world away from cold, clinical spaces. They’re warm, modern and thoughtfully designed to help you feel safe, welcome, and at home from the moment you arrive. From soft finishes to open plan kitchens and family-friendly spaces, they’ve been built with your comfort and independence in mind.
It’s the little touches that make a big difference. You’ll find hand-picked furniture, freshly made beds, and even a tea towel tied into a bow. These small signs show that someone has thought about what it’s like to walk through that door for the first time. We know it’s a big moment, and we want you to feel that this is your space, your home, and your future.
There are five self-contained apartments available. They include a mix of one and two-bedroom homes, located in a quiet area in the south of the city. You’ll have your own space and privacy, with our Glow support team nearby whenever you need us.
We’re here to help you settle in and move forward in whatever way works for you. That could be emotional support, help with housing or benefits, advice around children or finances, or simply someone to talk to who understands what you’ve been through.
As Donna, our Service Manager, puts it: “These homes offer more than safety. They’re a fresh start. We want every person who walks through those doors to feel cared for, supported, and in control of their next steps.”
